Livelihood Project for Tribal communities

The Livelihood Project for Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries at Boko, Kamrup district, was initiated in 2023. It is designed to improve economic well-being through skill development, asset building, market linkages and resource management.

The project supports agriculture, packaging and marketing while promoting sustainable practices, technical support and market-driven production.

Vocational training

Training has been provided in Computer Software, Computer Hardware, Garment Making and Fashion Design. Beneficiaries receive theoretical and practical instruction, entrepreneurship inputs and stipends according to applicable norms.

Industry and self-employment

Tailoring, garment and handicraft centres help young people become industry-ready. Trainees work in a practical environment, learn how to operate an enterprise and prepare products that can reach local markets.
